Vibration Mitigation

Vibration is a common issue on compressor skid packages in the field. Where this is the case, extra supports are required to be installed to reduce the vibration and prevent damage to critical components. Quality Process Services have completed installation of supports on a large range of skids for multiple customers in the field. Scopes included:

• Procurement of all required materials.

• Workshop fabrication of supports - field welds left where required.

• Co-ordination with operations and permit issuers.

• Mobilisation to site.

• In position welding of supports to AS1554.

• Encapsulation of weld area for spark containment.

• Non-destructive testing of field welds.

• Surface preparation and touch up coating.
